SAN LUIS OBISPO, SAN LUIS OBISPO COUNTY — November 4, 2026. San Luis Coastal Unified School District’s two contested trustee areas have separate leaders in the November 4 reporting.

Preliminary vote

In Area 1, Marilyn Rodger has 2,133 votes (60.4%) and Betty Winholtz 1,401 (39.6%). In Area 2, Marisa Gomez has 2,027 (63.4%) and Michael Glavan 1,169 (36.6%).

What the numbers mean

These are school-district governing-board seats, not seats on San Luis Obispo City Council. The trustee-area votes apply to different electorates and remain unofficial while eligible ballots continue to be counted.

Source and reporting cutoff

The San Luis Obispo County Clerk-Recorder published its fourth unofficial results report on November 4, 2026; the linked results compilation is stamped 1:55 a.m. Pacific on November 4. Further vote-by-mail and other eligible ballots may be added. Reporting a leading candidate or a ballot-measure majority does not constitute official certification.
